Marsriot Publisher
A private, internal tool that MarsRiot Media uses to publish and manage its own short-form videos on its own YouTube channels.
What it does
MarsRiot Media produces short-form episodic video in-house. Marsriot Publisher keeps those channels on a consistent posting schedule by uploading each finished video to our own YouTube channel through the official YouTube API, setting its thumbnail, adding it to the right playlist, and reading back aggregate performance analytics onto a private operator dashboard. It is not a public product and connects only to channels we own and operate.
How it works
- An operator authorizes one of our own channels once via Google OAuth.
- When a new episode is ready, the App uploads it to that channel, sets the custom thumbnail, adds it to a playlist, and posts a first comment with a call-to-action.
- The App reads aggregate analytics (views, watch time, retention) for our own videos and displays them on a private dashboard only the operator can see.
Data & privacy
The App only accesses channels we own, stores authorization tokens privately, and does not collect data about viewers or other users. Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
